Animal Kingdom

What better way to spend a trip to Orlando, Fl., than to visit the many Walt Disney Theme Parks? And one of the most interesting is Disney's Animal Kingdom, one of the 4 Theme Parks at the Walt Disney World Resort. It is host to several million visitors from all over the world annually.

Like the other Theme Parks, it offers rides, displays, and presentations that cannot be experienced anywhere else. The Animal Kingdom is the largest animal-theme park in the world, and houses over 1700 animals, representing over 250 species, covering 500 acres of beautiful Florida landscape. The Parks mission is to promote animal and habitat conservation, a subject dear to Walt Disney, and a tribute to his legacy.

The Park is sub-divided into 7 areas: Oasis, Discovery Island, Camp Minnie-Mickey, Africa, Rafiki's Planet Watch, Asia, and Dinoland. Each represents a different habitat, and experience. The Tree Of Life is the parks centerpiece, located on Discovery Island. It is surrounded by many animal enclosures with exotic and interesting species.

If you want to have a 'wild' vacation with tons of wholesome family entertainment for both young and old, then Disney's Animal Kingdom is the place for you.
